【Student Housing Service Section Announcement】Announcement of the Winter Vacation Dormitory Application in 113 Academic Year

  1. Check out Time for this semester:
    • Undergraduate students - Before 2025 JAN. 12th 16:00
    • Master & Ph.D. graduates – Before 2025 JAN. 22nd 16:00 (for aligning with campus Chinese New Year holiday schedule.)
  1. Students who want to stay in the dorm during winter vacationMUST apply for winter vacation accommodation in accordance with the regulations.
  2. Application eligibility: International Students
  3. Application period: 2024 Dec. 1st～2024 Dec. 20th
  4. Staying period: 2025 Jan. 13th～ 14th　
    (Application for non-continuous periods will not be accepted.)

    Portal → Apply for stay during vacation → Print out application form → Signed by GAO/dept./teacher/instructor → Send to Student Housing Service Section for approval → Pay the fee at Office of General Affairs (Building 1) → Deliver the stamped form to Student Housing Service Section
  1. Accommodation fee: $120 NTD per day, whole fee $3,960 NTD (33 days).
  2. Any students who want to stay during this period must complete the procedure above, otherwise accommodation, internet and access card will not be provided.
  3. During Chinese New Year holidays (from 2025 Jan. 24thto Feb. 2nd).
    • Dorms, SHSS office and cafeterias will be closed. (Except Family Mart in dormitory area)
    • NO Check out and Deposit refund procedures will be processed during Chinese New Year holidays. The accommodation period for Master & Ph.D. graduates in this semester (113-1) will end on 2025 Jan. 22nd, in alignment with the campus's Chinese New Year holiday.
    • The dorms will only provide hot water from electric heaters. Male 1 dorm students please take shower in Section B of each floor; Female 1 dorm students please take shower in the bathroom nearby room No. 13 of each floor.
    • The school military office will still be opened. In case of emergency or any physical discomfort, please call 03-4553698.
  1. Pipeline maintenance construction in the Male 1 Dorm：
    In principle, the construction plan is scheduled to be carried out from January 13 to 17, and the construction period is expected to be about 5 days. At that time, the water supply to the Male 1 Dorm will be water outage.  Please refer to the announcement at that time for the specific construction period and related cooperation matters.
  2. Ethernet: The 113-1 semester will transit to the winter break at 00:00 on 2025 Jan. 13th, and the 113-2 semester will begin at 00:00 on 2025 Feb. 15th. If there is a network disconnection during the transition period, please reinsert the network cable to resume internet access.
  3. If you have any questions, please contact the Student Housing Service Section (Male 1 Dorm, 1st Floor, Section C).
  4. Master, Ph.D., Internship, International Foundation Program students and Japan Future Enrichment Program’s freshmen who need to stay in dorm need to register through the form (Google Form) before 2024 Dec. 20th. No extra fee is required for winter vacation accommodation.
