Direct Admission into Doctoral Program

 Application flow

Application qualifications:

1.     Undergraduate students with exemplary academic performance and potential for research who are in their final year of study as well as master’s students who have been enrolled in a graduate program for at least one semester may apply for direct admission into a doctoral program on condition Students who change major shall not be placed at a higher grade level.

2.     Must submit recommendations of two associate or full professors in their current or relevant department (institute, college, degree program).

3.     Graduate students shall not file the application during their first semester of study.

Application procedures:

1.     Applicant: Please fill in the application form, and submit with recommendations of professors and overall transcript of the bachelor or master program (including the accumulative ranking)to the department (institute, college, degree program) to which you are applying.

2.     Department office: After the consent of the department meeting (institute, college, degree program) to which they are applying, and proceed the documentation together with the application form and the meeting minutes of the department (institute, college, degree program) to the Office of Academic Affairs.

Notice 

Undergraduate students in their final year of study whose application for direct admission into a doctoral program has been accepted must obtain their bachelor’s degree before enrolling in the doctoral program; those who fail to do so shall have their admission cancelled.
